Quickies for Treating Dandruff

Treating dandruff isn’t a tough job anymore. Pick one of the quickies that suits your hair type. Try it on and add to your hair routine. You could get your hair back to a lustrous dandruff free hair. Give your hair the magic touch and texture.


1. Castor – Mustard – Coconut Oil 

Massage the scalp every night at bed time with one tsp each of castor oil, mustard oil and coconut oil. Leave it overnight and wash it in the morning.

2. Lemon Juice - Coconut Oil 

Massage the scalp with a mixture of one part of lemon juice to two parts of coconut oil. Leave for 3 to 4 hours . Wash off with warm water.

3. Lemon Juice - Sandalwood Oil 

Massage the scalp with Sandal wood oil (1 part) and lemon juice (3 parts). Leave for an hour and wash in warm water.

4. Coconut - Sesame Oil

Heat coconut oil (1 part) and sesame oil (1 part) for few minutes, cool it to a tolerable condition, and apply it on hair. Leave it overnight and wash it in the morning.

5. Papaya - Yoghurt 

Mix the mashed papaya with 1 cup of yoghurt and then apply to the hair. Leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse hair with warm water.

6. Fenugreek - Yoghurt 

Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight and grind it with yoghurt. Then apply to the hair. Wash it after 1 hour. This can be done once in a month.

7. Coconut Milk

Massage the scalp with coconut milk. Leave it for half an hour and then wash with water.

8. Banana

Apply the mashed banana on the scalp and hair. Wash it after 45 minutes. This can be done once every month.
